Laura Coleman
Chief of Staff
Laura works as New Profit's Chief of Staff, providing high-level support to President and Founder Vanessa Kirsch, and serving as a trusted advisor and critical link in the communication between the President and external constituents. Laura also functions as a resource internally on issues like human resources, development, talent, and organizational performance. Most of Laura's professional career has focused on political campaigning. Her passion for campaigns came from a desire to help provide the public with passionate and qualified leaders who can bring about change and progress for those who need it most. She was drawn to New Profit's mission to create a better environment for our country's leading social entrepreneurs and their organizations.
Prior to joining New Profit, Laura was the Director of Donor Relations and Services for Romney for President, Inc. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with honors, she held various positions with Romney for Governor, the Executive Office of the Governor (Commonwealth of Massachusetts), Solamere Capital, and SJZ, LLC.
